This artwork delves into a surreal landscape where the lowland desert comes alive with fantastical creatures. Aaron Yap's vivid imagination conjures an environment where camels, cheetahs, toucans, and zebras roam in harmony, defying the natural order. The surreal atmosphere is heightened by the use of acrylic paints, with visible brush strokes that add texture and depth to the expansive desert scene. This painting reflects Yap's exploration of surrealism, blending his experiences with the hot weather and the challenge of creating an imaginative world on canvas.
