This pair of paintings by Aaron Yap captures the quiet magic of childhood set against the mystery of the night forest. In one scene, a young girl plays among glowing fireflies, surrounded by gentle forest creatures, evoking innocence and wonder. In the other, she sits on a swing beneath the branches of a tree, gazing at the moon and stars in peaceful contemplation.
Together, the works reflect Yap’s imaginative vision and his exploration of night-time landscapes, blending warmth, serenity, and a deep connection with nature.
