Inspired by Sembawang’s local landmarks, The Bus Interchange by Khairul Safari celebrates a favourite transit hub with architectural clarity and warm nostalgia. Khairul Safari uses watercolour pencil underdrawings and acrylics to create a sunset-toned sky, populating the canvas with familiar signboards and buildings. More than a study in transport, the work honours spaces of waiting, moving, and everyday life.
