Rainbow of Hope

Rainbow of Hope by Noah Tan is a celebration of the natural beauty and symbolism of the rainbow. Using impasto techniques, Tan creates a three-dimensional texture that makes the colours of the rainbow stand out vibrantly against the canvas. Inspired by his favourite artist Vincent Van Gogh, Tan uses a palette knife to layer shades of red, yellow, blue, and green, creating a tactile experience that symbolizes resilience and optimism. This artwork serves as a reminder that after every storm, there is hope and beauty.

About Noah Tan

Noah Tan is well known for his innate ability to match colours. His unique aesthetic landed him numerous commissions from brands such as Uniqlo, Woh Hup, GIC and Bank of Singapore . His awards include the SYF Certificates of Recognition in 2014 , 2016 and 2018 art exhibitions as well as the MOE Lee Kuan Yew Exemplary Student Award 2018 and Goh Chok Tong Enable Awards 2021 (UBS Promise). Noah is a Rainbow Centre Talent Art Programme graduate and also a distinction holder for the NAFA CLE Certificate in Visual Arts. He is also an awardee of the 2024 Liberty Art Awards.
