Journey I–VI
This series invites viewers into a contemporary safari, an exploration of movement, texture, and emotion. Each canvas acts as a waypoint, with gold leaf marking moments of discovery. The layered gestures evoke the energy of the wilderness, with tracks, impressions, and marks of life in motion. Together, the six works form a map of experience, capturing the essence of a journey rather than its destination.

Journey I – The first step into unknown terrain, bold marks carve paths that beckon the explorer forward.

About Natalie Holstad

An intuitive painter since the age of 11, Norwegian-Singaporean artist Natalie Holstad believes in the healing power of art. Her distinct abstract style explores colour, form, and imagery in ways that uplift both the viewer and the spaces her works inhabit. She creates joyful, soothing art through conscious choices of colour, embracing spontaneity and turning accidents into opportunities for deeper expression.
