Heaven and Earth invites the viewer into a sacred space in nature—a place to breathe, restore balance, and centre the mind and spirit. This pair of paintings embodies harmony, healing, and connection. Inspired by the Norwegian landscape where the beach meets the fjord, they reflect the union of earth, water, and sky.

The vast, open clarity of the north brings a grounding energy to mind, body, and soul, while touches of gold evoke sunlight—symbolising warmth, renewal, and unity. These works are an abstract interpretation of nature’s power to heal and uplift, offering a visual sanctuary where one can pause, reflect, and simply breathe.

About Natalie Holstad

An intuitive painter since the age of 11, Norwegian-Singaporean artist Natalie Holstad believes in the healing power of art. Her distinct abstract style explores colour, form, and imagery in ways that uplift both the viewer and the spaces her works inhabit. She creates joyful, soothing art through conscious choices of colour, embracing spontaneity and turning accidents into opportunities for deeper expression.
