Chen Feiyu and Miao Yujia are jewellery designers who draw inspiration from traditional Chinese craftsmanship and heritage arts. Their work celebrates cultural storytelling through handcrafted techniques, decorative details, and artisanal processes. Through their designs, they seek to preserve and reinterpret traditional practices for contemporary audiences while showcasing the romance and richness of Chinese cultural heritage.

Inspiration Behind the Design

"Gui Zhi" takes inspiration from the cultural significance of mooncakes and their association with family reunion, prosperity, and Mid-Autumn traditions. Combining hand-painted floral detailing, bead-stringing techniques, winding floral motifs, and embroidery, the design celebrates traditional Chinese craftsmanship. Osmanthus elements symbolise wealth and good fortune, while the rabbit embodies harmony, familial bonds, and the enduring spirit of Mid-Autumn celebrations.
