by artist Abraham Koh

This painting is an abstract portrayal of diverse fish species, expressed through bold brushstrokes and vibrant, kaleidoscopic colors that invite personal interpretation and emotional connection.

Fish hold deep symbolic meaning across cultures. Koi, in particular, represent good luck, harmony, prosperity, and the dispelling of negative energy. Fish are also associated with fertility, birth, and the unconscious or higher self. When depicted in pairs or schools, they symbolize harmony and marital happiness, while their ability to swim upstream reflects perseverance, achievement, and career growth.

In a world filled with negativity, the artist hopes this artwork evokes joy, hope, and exuberance.
