Artist Profile

Eugene Soh Yew Lin is a self-trained impressionist artist known for textured, atmospheric paintings and his ability to evoke emotion through colour and light. Following a life-changing spinal condition, he channelled his creativity into art and developed a distinctive style celebrated for its ethereal qualities. He is a recipient of the Liberty Art Awards 2025 First Prize and has been commissioned by Resorts World Sentosa.

Inspiration Behind the Design

"Garden of Harmony" transforms the rabbit into a vibrant sanctuary inspired by Singapore's identity as a Garden City. Colourful flowers represent diversity, while golden floral motifs honour traditional Chinese heritage. Featuring icons such as the Singapore skyline, national emblem, and Gardens by the Bay, the design celebrates unity, renewal, and coexistence. It reminds viewers that kindness, inclusion, and mutual respect allow communities to flourish together.
