This painting captures the grace and elegance of a flock of flamingos, painted with meticulous care and attention to detail. Inspired by photographs taken at the now-defunct Jurong Bird Park, Mitchel brings the flamingos to life in acrylic, layering paint to create depth and movement. Each canvas presents the birds facing different directions, inviting the viewer to appreciate the beauty of these majestic creatures from multiple perspectives. The work stands as a tribute to a beloved landmark and the natural beauty it showcased.
