Artist Profile

Fang Yuyu is a jewellery designer whose work explores contemporary and conceptual design through bold visual language and storytelling. Combining traditional craftsmanship with innovative techniques such as laser cutting and hand-stitching, her practice balances structure, experimentation, and intricate detailing. Her designs aim to create meaningful narratives while pushing the boundaries of material and form.

Inspiration Behind the Design

"Eternal Cycle" draws inspiration from the legend of the Jade Rabbit in the Moon Palace. Veils, auspicious clouds, osmanthus flowers, and lunar phases combine to create a sacred and dreamlike atmosphere. By referencing the cyclical movement of the moon, the design reflects the continuity of time, nature, and life itself, celebrating renewal, transformation, and the enduring rhythms that connect all living things.
