About Vicky Tan

Vicki Tan, 28, explores freedom and fluidity through her signature acrylic pouring technique, which produces celestial, dreamscape-like images and scenes reminiscent of auroras and natural panoramas. Vicki’s practice spans ceramics, painting, and the violin, reflecting a deep connection to both visual and auditory forms of expression. She blends the tactile beauty of ceramics with the vibrant energy of painting, while her violin playing adds a musical dimension to her artistic life.

Living with hip dysplasia, Vicki channels her experience of navigating physical limitations into her creative practice, allowing her art to communicate resilience, strength, and emotion.
