Irina Smolkina is a textile artist and fashion designer specialising in avant-garde miniature couture. Inspiration Behind the Design

"Alexandrina" draws inspiration from the icy clarity and ever-changing qualities of deep water across the seasons. Influenced by Elie Saab's Fall/Winter 2026-2027 Haute Couture collection, the design incorporates delicate beads, sequins, pearls, and crystals layered across lace and satin. The rabbit embodies elegance, fluidity, and transformation, capturing the shimmering beauty and movement of water through intricate embellishment and couture craftsmanship.
